25th Annual Gold Plate Dinner

On Tuesday, June 8th, 2010, the Hellenic Meeting and Reception Centre hosted the Hellenic Community of Ottawa's 25th Annual Gold Plate Dinner. For yet another year, the event was a great success. Almost 600 guests in attendance enjoyed a wide selection of food, wine, and bar choices, including multiflavoured champagnes and exotic appetizers. Following a delicious three-course meal, guests were eligible to win several incredible prizes, including a Mercedez Benz. The event certainly lived up to its high expectations.

The Hellenic Meeting and Reception Centre would like to thank Emerald Catering, Big Daddy's Crab Shack, and Taste of Japan for their exquisite appetizer selections.

A big thank you also goes out to event organizer Erin Giakoumelos, managers Costa Koskoletos and Mary Dimas, head chef Jason Duquette, and all the Hellenic Meeting and Reception Centre's staff. This event would not be possible without their hard work and preparation, which ensured a quality experience for our guests.
