We selected the Hellenic Reception Centre of Ottawa as the venue for our wedding day for several reasons.  With the new renovations we thought the hall was just stunning. With the Centre conveniently located next to the Church it made for a wise choice. Also the staff are always enthusiastic and a pleasure to deal with.   Very patient! The staff were all very accomodating to our needs. We really wanted our wedding to be something special and had some special requests.  The management and kitchen staff transformed all our requests into reality by working with us and our decorator.  The service was top notch as always!     All of our guests were extremelly pleased with the food. The chef and serving staff were fabulous. I only wish my Wife and I were there to sample some of the smoked meat table that was specially set-up for our guests at the cocktail hour. It was a huge hit! People are still talking about it today. We were busy taking pictures so we never had a chance to sample it.     We would definitely reccommend all our family and friends to share their special moments at your venue.  The Hellenic Reception Centre is a classy establishment and we wouldn't go anywhere else.

Mary was absolutely AMAZING!!!!  We had such confidence in her that she would make sure that everything was perfect.  The Hellenic Reception Centre was wonderfully accommodating for our wedding.  The staff was wonderful and very attentive to every one of our needs and special requests.  There was excellent communication and planning up to the event, and the day of the wedding went as smooth as we had hoped.  We only received wonderful feedback from our guests.

I find the locale to be convenient and accessible and the décor is tasteful and attractive. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. As a parent with concerns around food allergies, I have also found staff to be highly accommodating to our needs and requests. During both personal/private and professional events, we have enjoyed the food and found the service to be highly satisfactory. Its easy accessibility to the downtown core and plenty of free parking has helped our events run smoothly.   I have referred many of my own clients, friends, collegues to the Hellenic Meeting and Reception Centre for their event needs.

Growing up in the Greek Community and seeing the Community change over the years made it easy to chose the Hellenic Centre for our event. Because we were close to the community, we were able to see first hand how the community was being run and the condition it was in. Also by having others having their event at the Hellenic and seeing how well it was taken care of made our decision even that much easier. We knew that booking our wedding and our daughters baptism at the Hellenic Centre was the best choice as we knew that our event would be a huge success because of it.

The service was incredible. Any questions that we had about our events that we've had at the Hellenic Centre were all answered quickly and professionally were there was no second guessing with the response. Even at the event itself, the staff was around to help us out with any quick changes we needed to do to make our events even that more special.

Our food at our wedding and at our daughter's baptism was exceptional. All of our guests left happy and complementing us on our choices and how good it was. We didn't have any complaints at all, which is quit rare when dealing with so many people.

Knowledgeable staff, good food, great atmosphere and a beautiful hall was easy to make our event special.

 Deciding to host our Engagement Party (September 2008) and up coming Wedding (September 2009) at the Hellenic Meeting and Reception Centre was an easy decision.  Its ideal location, ample parking and new renovations made the Hellenic very appealing.  The staff is very efficient, respectful and was willing to work with us to accommodate all our requests.  Their professionalism and experience enhanced the planning of our reception and gave us peace of mind that our event would run smoothly.

We originally chose the Hellenic as our event venue because it is convenient to the majority of Ottawa.  It offers first class facilities and lots of convenient, free parking.

 The service from all the staff at the Hellenic is top notch.  Everyone provides the level of service you expect from a professional organisation, but they do it with a small community spirit.  Every time we arrive, we are greeted with a hello and a genuine interest in our health.

 The food and beverage service at the Hellenic is very good.  Especially the home baked cookies!

 Using the Hellenic has enhanced our business activity in Ottawa, especially after the extensive renovations that increased the level of quality and equipment.

Our organization, The Odyssey Dance Troupe, chose the Reception Hall as we wanted to support our own community as they have supported us. Using this venue helped make this event special for us as it added a sense of familiarity and belonging. We were able to create a very welcoming atmosphere in collaboration with the Reception Hall staff. The food was excellent and the staff was very helpful and attentive the day of our event. We look forward to hosting more functions at the Hellenic Reception Centre.
